A little about Treasure .
Curiosity, creativity and laughter fill Treasure Richardson’s life.
A writer, artist, decorator and traveler, she is endlessly inspired by the people and places around her. Treasure’s first book “All the Questions I Need to Know” was inspired by daughter Jade, who, when she was three years old, asked: Where does the white go when the snow disappears?

Treasure collected inquisitive, ridiculous and puzzling questions and answers from her children and other for nearly 20 years before penning her illustrated book.
“All the Questions I Need to Know”
was published in 2017. The book’s questions will be answered on a corresponding and interactive website, where parents and children can also share their whimsical questions.
A woman of many interests and pursuits, Treasure is a Level 2 figure skating instructor, has a diploma in fashion and merchandising, a ticket in air brakes and studied blue print and specifications. She travels and golfs often, relishes in giving new life to old things and enjoys designing and building.

Treasure is also the driving force behind the construction of Calgary’s largest disc golf park. The park will be a legacy to her husband David, who died tragically in 2015.
Treasure and David began playing the sport in 2012 and criss-crossed North America competing in event. The 27-acre David Richardson Memorial Disc Golf Park will be in northwest Calgary and host international championship events for the sport.

Treasure was born in Calgary and is the mother of two adult children: her daughter Jade & her son Kai.
